Juan Silva
Registered Migration Agent,
Compliance Coordinator
I came to Australia with the purpose of finishing an English course and then return home. Little did I know that Australia was going to become my second home. I studied Law in my home country, Venezuela, where I lived my whole life.
I have had the chance to travel around the world and live in a couple of places. After meeting my partner in Australia, I had the amazing opportunity to become a permanent resident of this beautiful country. It was during this process that I discovered my passion for visas and helping others achieve their migration goals in Australia.
I am soon to complete my studies in Migration Law and Practice.
Crystal Migration has been a great place to start my career in Immigration. The team is highly skilled and experienced, and I have learnt greatly from all of them. I am eager to continue growing my skills and contribute to making the dreams of many a reality, to call Australia home.
I am passionate about traveling, exploring new places and experiencing new cultures. I love the beach and a nice warm, sunny day.

Sophia Gleissberg
General Operations Manager
Having lived in Dresden, Germany for the majority of her life, Sophia first came to Australia as a backpacker in 2008. After spending two years in the country, she returned to Sydney in 2014 to study Event Management. She worked on various small to large-scale events until COVID-19 prompted a career shift while living in Melbourne.
During the lockdown, Sophia taught herself Graphic and Web Design, and her passion has only grown since.
Sophia has been part of Crystal since its inception in 2019 and is now a key member of the team as the General Operations Manager, a role she officially stepped into in January 2025.

Matheus Lima
Contracts Supervisor
Born in Brazil, Matheus started his career as a Brazilian lawyer in 2018, working on corporate, contracts and tax law areas. When dealing with multinational companies as clients, he felt the necessity of improving his language skills, so he moved to Ireland and stayed for 5 years, where he completed his English course and a masters degree in dispute resolution.
In Ireland, he had a brief contact with migration, but it was enough to spark his interest in the area and seek more knowledge and opportunities.
Looking for a warmer country to live in, he moved to Australia in 2023, initially living in Western Australia and then moving to Sydney, where the opportunity to work at Crystal Migration was presented to him.
In his spare time, Matheus enjoys sports, especially football (soccer), and traveling.

Working with Crystal Migration has given me an opportunity to work in a diverse industry I am passionate about. Our work is extremely rewarding as we have a life-changing impact on clients. We are always working hard to ensure clients receive a personalised service as we help each client embark on a new journey to call Australia home.
