How it affects you

These changes affect you, as sponsors, in more ways than one. Occupation and industry you specialise in, the revised tasks and specialisations of the occupations may affect both the LMT process and who you may be able to sponsor.

Companies must now revise the tasks and descriptions they use in their job advertising to cater to the new changes made my ANZSCO on the occupation they are advertising. Please keep in mind that you still can not copy and paste the exact tasks listed on ANZSCO. A change in the tasks of an occupation may also mean that company’s need to look out for these tasks/ duties in their nominee’s resume to ensure that they match with the ones outlined on ANZSCO.
