Manicurist, Student Counsellor, Travel Agent, yoga instructors, and legal Receptionist are just some. Having these occupations over essential trades has been controversial.
Key Requirements that are different from before
- At least 12 months of work experience in the nominated occupation within the last five years.
- Pathway to 186 after 2 years
- Nominations or applications made under the previous Subclass 482 visa structure (Short-Term and Medium-Term streams) before 7 December 2024 will automatically transition to the new structure.
Updated Application Fees
- $3,115 for the primary applicant.
- $3,115 for secondary applicants aged 18 or older.
- $780 for secondary applicants under 18.
