Skilled Visa Opportunities
Queensland actively seeks skilled professionals from around the world to address key workforce shortages and contribute to our state’s diverse economy and thriving communities.
If you meet the requirements outlined in the streams below, you may be eligible to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Queensland nomination.
Migration Queensland nominates candidates for two skilled visa subclasses:
- Skilled Nominated (Permanent) visa (subclass 190): Grants skilled workers permanent residency in Queensland, allowing them to live and work in the state. More details are available on the Australian Department of Home Affairs website.
- Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491): Enables skilled workers to live and work in regional Queensland on a provisional basis. For more information, visit the Australian Department of Home Affairs website.
